Why is there not an "Ignore Button"?

Just curious. Has any thought been put into this feature. It may help reduce banter back and forth between posters.

Click on USER CP top left of any forum page. The click on Buddy/Ignore lists.

To remove a user from either the Buddy or Ignore Lists, delete their name from the appropriate box. To add a user to either list, enter their name in one of the empty boxes for that list.
